⚠ IMPORTANT: MedReady is a training platform. It is not a substitute for professional medical training, licensure, or in-person first aid certification. Completing MedReady scenarios does not make you a qualified medical professional. In a real emergency, always contact professional emergency services.

Summary: MedReady provides scenario-based training content for educational purposes. You may use it for training and preparation. You may not redistribute our content or misrepresent training records. We are in pre-launch — there is no billing yet. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the MedReady website (medready.io) or any MedReady training platform (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, waitlist registrants, early access users, and paying subscribers. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

MedReady provides interactive, scenario-based training content based on MARCH (Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia) protocols, TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) guidelines, PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) standards, and related emergency response curricula.

The Service is designed for:

3. Medical disclaimer — training purposes only

MedReady scenarios and protocols are designed to familiarize users with frameworks and decision-making structures — they are not a substitute for:

MedReady completion certificates are training records documenting scenario-based learning. They do not confer clinical licensure, professional certification, or accreditation from any medical body (unless explicitly stated in connection with a specific accredited partner program).

In a real emergency, always contact professional emergency services immediately. Do not delay calling for help in order to apply training from this platform.

MedReady, its founders, employees, and contractors accept no responsibility for actions taken — or not taken — in real emergency situations by users of this platform, regardless of the outcome.

4. User accounts and waitlist

To join the waitlist or access the platform, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@medready.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

When paid plans become available:

Organization plan pricing is custom. Terms for organization plans will be set out in a separate order form or agreement.

7. Intellectual property and content ownership

Our content: All scenarios, decision trees, training content, imagery, text, software, and other materials on the MedReady platform are owned by MedReady or licensed to us. They are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal training purposes only.

Your data: Your training performance data, scenario responses, and completion records are yours. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

TCCC/PHTLS guidelines: The MARCH and TCCC protocols implemented in MedReady are based on publicly available guidelines from the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). We make no claim of ownership over these protocols.

Feedback: If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by MedReady's gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

Critical note: Because MedReady is a training platform for emergency and medical content, you expressly acknowledge that real emergency situations involve risk of serious injury or death. Training on this platform does not guarantee competence in real emergencies, and MedReady expressly disclaims any liability for outcomes in real-world situations.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MedReady and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party rights; or (c) your misrepresentation of MedReady training records to third parties.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@medready.io. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your waitlist entry or account by contacting hello@medready.io.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 12) shall survive.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MedReady regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
